EVENT GUIDELINES
1. COMMUNITY & CULTURE
Honor Our Roots: This event exists because of the Black, Brown, Queer, and Trans people who organize, perform, and hold space here.
Lead with Kindness: We are all queer, and we are all choosing to share this space together. When the club gets packed, a simple “excuse me” or “thank you” goes a long way.
All Bodies, All Genders: You will see every kind of body and gender here. We are all here to have a fun, sexy time—treat everyone with respect.
Leave No Trace: Clean up after yourself! Trash goes in the cans.
2. PRIVACY & DISCRETION
NO CAMERAS / NO PHOTOS / NO VIDEO: Queers deserve to play, explore, and exist without outside eyes watching.
Phone Check: Your camera lenses will be taped at the door prior to entry. Respect everyone's privacy—keep your phone away.
3. CONSENT & CRUISING ETHOS
Consent is MANDATORY: Consent must be freely given and is always reversible. “No” is a complete sentence ("no thank you" gets bonus points).
Navigating Implied Consent: Modelled after historic gay bathhouses, cruising spaces rely on a tight honor system built on non-verbal cues, eye contact, and physical language (like a touch, stroke, or body caress). We are ALL responsible for respecting this dynamic, whether we are participating or not.
How to Say No: If you do not want an interaction, tap their hand/arm away and say "No, thanks." Because the music is loud and drinks are flowing, don't hesitate to say "no" firmly or repeat it if needed. The goal is for everyone to feel respected while sharing space.
4. CARE & SAFETY
Safety Staff: Look out for our safety team wearing neon vests. They are kink-informed and available alongside venue security if you need support, assistance, or a liaison.
Look Out for Each Other: Events like this can only happen when we take care of our own. Keep an eye on your peers, and check in on someone if they look like they need a hand.
